HOKOZANI Langa was the king of maskandi. Though he has not been active, he was the best Maskandi singer we have ever seen.

This has nothing to do with the departure of two of this genre’s big guns, Bhekumuzi Luthuli and Mgqumeni Khumalo, whom passed away recently.

THE year 2010 will wait in Khuzani “Indlamlenze” Mpungose’s memory for quite a while.

It was a result of this achievement that his armies of faithful allies call him King Khuba. He left a mark on the world last year when he performed to a sold-out maskandi show at Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban.
